1953 Chevy 3100 previously restored 5 Window
This truck was restored very nicely in 2005 but then in 2008 they went through a divorce and she got the cars. She then proceeded to park the cars in the back yard and let them rot. This truck has always been in southern CA out of the San Bernardino county area. The truck has a 235 inline 6 paired with a manual 3 speed, t runs great and starts right up. We went through and drained the gas and flushed the tank and the lines, ave the truck a complete tuneup and replaced all filters and fluids. Except for the paint, verything else in this truck survived like new including the interior, ll the glass and rubber. So far it starts up every time and it runs great, ery fun and easy to drive and it stops great too! The truck was painted during the restoration and as you can see it was a pretty decent job, e went through and color sanded and polished the paint to a super high luster, ery nice looking truck now. Of course the paint does have some huge issues as you can see in the pics, t will need to be redone eventually or now depending on what you want. But if you are ok with the imperfections you can drive it as is for a long time and looks fantastic from 20+ feet. All the chrome was replaced during the restoration and still looks like new. All the glass was replaced and still looks brand new, ll the rubber and window felt has also been replaced. The interior looks new with a perfect bench seat, verything works as it should including all the windows, ights, ew gauges, ew speedometer, urn signals, igh beam. The new wood is in good condition.
The truck runs very well, t starts right up and runs smooth. The brakes were all redone and still feel like new, ts stops as well if not better than when new. Pretty much everything on this truck has been replaced.
