1971 Chevrolet Other Pickups Super Cheyenne Description

If you like your pickups big and rugged, with a classic look that is recognizable the world over, this 1971 Chevy K20 might be what you're looking for. With a square-shouldered look that suggests it could move a mountain given enough time, and a fuel-injected big block under the hood to get it done, this is a hard working piece of hardware that still shows well. Simplicity has a beauty of its own, and this truck wears... classic styling along with period Hugger Orange paint that take you back to the carefree days before trucks were status symbols. Bright orange works just about anywhere but you need to appreciate the attention because this C10 is going to attract a lot of it. This one has been expertly refinished to a very high standard with laser-straight bodywork and sizzling two-stage urethane, and with that much truck it really makes a statement. All the stainless trim remains intact, along with bright, shiny bumpers front and rear and those cool woodgrained inserts are practically mandatory on a truck like this. The bed has a spray-in bedliner, but that locking tool box says this truck isn't afraid to work for its keep around the house. There's not much it won't haul home from the local Home Depot next Saturday. Inside, it's a similar story, with all-new upholstery on the stock bench seat, a beautiful color combination, and a very inviting look. The bright onange paint continues, but it works well with the OEM-style houndstooth fabric on the seats, as well as the woodgrained inserts on the instrument panel and glovebox lid. The carpets are new and high-tech LED lighting really makes it bright in there. Factory A/C is a nice addition, and the gauges are big and bright with easy-to-read markings. The original AM radio is still in the dash and the control unit for the Holley Sniper EFI system is tucked away in the original glove box. A padded headliner insert matches the door panels and that lever on the transmission tunnel manages the transfer case for the 4-wheel-drive system. This is a big truck, and to move it you need a big engine - in this case, a 454 cubic inch Chevy V8, which is more than capable. It's a neat fit in the K's engine bay (heck, you could probably stuff a nuclear reactor in there with room to spare), and wears dress-up items like chrome valve covers and an open element air cleaner. New fuel lines and a custom air cleaner feed the Holley Sniper EFI system, and a custom dual exhaust system uses Flowmasters to deliver a great soundtrack. With OEM-style valve covers, Chevy Orange paint on the block, and a serpentine belt drive system, it almost looks like this truck was built this way by the factory. There's also a giant aluminum radiator, an Optima battery, and Wilwood master cylinder, all designed to improve reliability in the rough. The driveline is stout, with a TH350 3-speed automatic and a rugged transfer case, and the steering is augmented with a rack-and-pinion setup that really improves precision. It's super clean underneath and sits on big 17-inch aluminum wheels with huge 33x12.5-17 off-road tires. Big, rugged, and ready to work or play, this K20 pickup is a glimpse into the working-class machinery our fathers used every day. Call now!
