The story of this vehicle was stated to haveoriginally sold to a Chevrolet Corvair engineer who maintained ownership thoughthe mid 1990's. It completed a professional restoration using period correctacrylic lacquer paint in the original color of Monaco Blue Metallic (code 914)returning it to show quality sometime in the early 1990s. It then sold for thefirst time in 1995 already restored to a collector in Sonoma County, CA. Heenthusiastically enjoyed the car in the wine county for the next 9 years. Itthen traded hands to another Corvair enthusiast in approximately 2005. Thisenthusiast kept it for 10 years until 2015 when it was sold to its currentowner through the St. Louis Car Museum. It has been meticulously maintainedboth mechanically and cosmetically! It continues to start with utter ease, anddrive with perfect road feedback. All features & safety items remain 100%fully functional! Only 4 owners have been lucky enough to sit behind the wheel!
