This black beauty shines in all the right places. Body off frame restoration. Upgraded to an SS.
EXTERIOR: Presents itself like a show car. It's a laser straight body with black paint that looks like a mirror. Literally, the reflection of whatever is next to it is crystal clear. No ugly vinyl top. All of the chrome looks new- bumpers, mirrors, handles, emblems, vent window frames, taillights. Stainless looks new- grill, headlight bezels, wheel well moldings, window and gutter moldings. All the glass is clear, front and back windows are new. Jambs are painted slick, new weather strips and fuzzy window seals. Has 15 inch rally wheels with new trim and red line tires.
INTERIOR: Very restored and detailed, everything looks like new. The seats have new cushions so they feel firm and the upholstery fits tight. All new upholstery, seat backs and chrome trim. New door panels, armrests, bases, window cranks and handles. The center console is all new with working clock and light. New carpet and sill plates. GM seatbelts front and back look new. The dash area is all restored- new chrome trim sparkles. New dash pad, glovebox liner, factory gauges. Upgraded walnut steering wheel and retro stereo. Has aux plug and 6x9 rear speakers. New headliner, visors and mirror. Dome light works.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Detailed compartment. Has a 454 engine upgraded with an aluminum intake and HEI ignition. Has stock chrome valve covers and air cleaner. All the paint finishes are smooth. Many components look new- alternator, wiring, spring clamp battery cables, GM hoses, fan shroud etc. It is a factory air conditioned car. Compressor is rebuilt, needs hoses and to be charged. It also has a new power brake booster, master and lines. Correct power steering with the remote reservoir.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Detailed out real nice. All clean metal with a good durable coat of spatter finish paint. It has a new rubber mat and weatherstrip. The spare is a painted rim with a new red line tire. Has jack assembly. All the wiring neat and tidy.
UNDERSIDE: Body was off the frame. Clean metal floors were painted satin black. New body bushings. The chassis is all detailed out. The front suspension and steering is completely rebuilt. Bottom of the motor is clean Chevy orange, new starter. Has rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic trans. All new brake system- lines, hoses e-brake assembly. Upgraded to disc brakes at all four wheels. New fuel system- tank, straps, insulators, sending unit and lines. Rear suspension looks new- shocks, control arm bushings and springs. Has new dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
This is a detailed car. In and out even the little things are new and that makes a difference. Being all black certainly makes it even that much more impressive. Strong running 454, with just a bit more work you can have working factory air too. This one is exceptional!
