1970 Chevrolet Chevy CST Custom Sport Truck C10 Not GMC Long Bed
1970 Chevrolet C-10 CST Description
This was a one-family-owned C10 until about 3 months ago. It looks to be a very solid, very original truck. The lady who was selling it from her father's estate, thought the top had been repainted 20 or 25 years ago, but couldn't remember for certain. After I looked the truck over really well, I think the whole truck had been repainted at one time. For as old as the paint is, it looks like whoever did it did a very good job. It looks to have been professionally done. I think the truck needs a good buffing and wax. It is dull, but in pretty good shape. It appears to have had a few scratches/nicks touched up. It looks to have had a topper on it at one time. It has a few scratches and a few bolt holes that have been touched up on the top rails. It looks like it had running boards on it at one time because there are bolt holes where running boards would have been attached to it. It has add-on cruise, which looks like it was probably added back in the '70's. It still works. The radio has been upgraded at some point to a Pioneer stereo, but the dash has not been cut. This truck has a 350 engine, automatic transmission, p/s, p/b, factory AC. This truck is a factory CST, which means Custom Sport Truck, which was top of the line for 1970. If it had been a 1971 or 1972, it would have been called a Cheyenne Super. The bed, as you can see in the pictures, is not all beat up and is in good condition. The tires look like they're in good shape but they look like they've been on the truck a long time. It looks to have the original dash pad, carpet, headliner, door panels, armrests. It looks like the seat may have been reupholstered at one time.It is very hard to find these trucks in this kind of condition these days. I try to find trucks in as close to original condition as possible. I have a very low reserve on this truck. I put them on to sell them. I'm sure I've missed something about this truck...
