1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups modified Description

This is a complete frame-off restoration and rebuild with updated electronics. The all-steel body and running boards have been finished in a gleaming two-tone paint job. The truck boasts professional pin-stripe details.Improvements include power bucket seats (driver's is active) relocated 18 gallon fuel cell, 2 spd heater, 2 spd wipers, LED taillights, Hella H-4 headlights, AM/FM Retrosound radio and total 12 volt conversion, all connected with a brand new wiring harness. It has an electronic ignition system. The project also included a complete rebuild of the engine. It has been adapted for modern fuel, given a HYDRA-MATIC transmission, rear end differential (3:55 gear ratio), steering column, radiator, dual brake master cylinder, and a stainless steel exhaust system. The FIRESTONE white wall tube tires are fitted to the original rims. This solid truck also has new springs, shackles, shock absorbers, and rebuilt front end all fitted to the finely detailed under carriage. The oak bed is trimmed with stainless steel hardware and finished with marine Water Lox.This beauty starts and runs with no noises, leaks, smoke, or otherwise. It passed New York State's rigorous safety inspection so it is ready to be safely driven and enjoyed. An optional side mount for the spare tire will be included. I also have the original bench seat which would need to be completely reconditioned.A great deal of care, effort, and expense has resulted in a beautifully restored truck that is a pleasure to behold and drive.
