1962 Corvair Convertible 900 Monza Project Factory AC - Some new parts
1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 900 Description
I bought this Corvair a few years ago with hopes of restoring it. But now I have run out of space and time. It has 4 new tires (although 2 were mounted on bad rims so they don't hold air for very long). The spare tire is old but it holds air. This car has an automatic transmission and factory AC. The front brake cylinders have been restored and the rear cylinders are new (only one has been installed but I have the other). Included in the sale is a brand new set of brake lines and fuel lines and rear brake shoes. It does not currently run, but the engine turns by hand. The dipstick oil looks good as does the transmission fluid. I suspect it was parked just after a rebuild. All of the parts are present. Some of the engine sheet metal is rough though. Interior: The door panels are rough, but the seats are in good shape, they just need cleaned up. The carpet is rough as well. I can see some small rust holes under the car but no major rust on the rest of the panels. Let me know if you have any questions!Buyer is responsible for pick-up and/or shipping. I can store the car for up to 3 weeks after the end of the auction. $500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction close.
