1972 Chevrolet C-10 Restomod Description

We've had a lot of Chevy pickups come through our showroom, but quite frankly NONE have approached the incredible design and build quality of this 1972 Chevrolet C10 Restomod. From the nearly perfect Hammerhead Gray paint, to the spectacular red leather interior, to the Supercharged LS3 V8 under the hood, and the Roadster Shop chassis underneath, it delivers show-dominating looks and offers otherworldly performance and comfort for those who love to drive. Stop looking, this is the best-of-the-best.
You already know from the price that this truck is something special. There's not a panel on it that hasn't been smoothed, molded, or altered in some way (check out those shaved drip rails and all the custom work on the bed), yet it's still 100% recognizable as one of Chevy's finest. Deleting most of the trim and emblems certainly helps achieve a slick look, but it's that Hammerhead Gray paint applied by the wunderkind Bright Brothers LLC in Alvarado, Texas that really seals the deal. Lots of time and effort went into getting all the bodywork smooth, and it shows, with great gaps and a sinister, shiny final finish that makes this truck show-worthy in every way. You'll noticed that the front clip was swapped in from a '67-'68 model C-10, and then the front bumper was smoothed and tucked in close to the body, then painted to match the body. The same goes for the rear bumper, which hangs under a trick tailgate that fits better than any other we've seen. And yes, the wood-bed floor is an absolute work of art. We realize it's not for hauling anymore, but the workmanship is impressive and we guarantee it's the one thing that everyone will stop to admire. Well, once they pick their jaws up from the ground.
The interior is every bit as well finished as the bodywork, with incredible craftsmanship completed by Paul Ackins in Alabama. Custom stitched leather seat covers on the low-back buckets and custom middle console update the C10's formerly bare-bones interior, and deep red looks amazing against the gray exterior paint. The door panels are likewise unique works of art that incorporate beautiful stitching with artistic flourishes like the integrated arm rests and flashes of billet chrome trim. This Chevy's original instrument panel remains intact, but it's encased in a custom panel and the gauges are now big, bold digital dials framed by a custom Budnik steering wheel on a tilt column. The padded portion of the dash is upholstered to match the seat, and plush carpets illuminated with LED lighting on the floors help control noise and heat for comfortable cruising. Thanks to a powerful Vintage A/C system you don't have to worry about long highway drives in warm weather, and an Alpine AM/FM/CD/AUX/Satellite/Bluetooth stereo system fits in the original slot and powers speakers hidden out of sight. That custom middle console with a late-model shifter and cup holders, storage and power window controls may be the coolest part of the truck, but it's hard to pick favorites. This is simply one of the coolest interiors that we've ever seen.
A thundering Supercharged LS3 fuel-injected V8 under the hood gives this truck performance to match its looks. The modern block and Magnus Supercharger shave weight as well as build horsepower and it's topped by big fuel injectors and a modern cold air intake system and all impeccably wired together with an American Automotive wiring harness. There's a lot of polished aluminum, chrome, and billet bits throughout, including the finned valve covers and Concept One pulley system for the accessories, and the insanely slick gray engine bay with a smoothed firewall and inner fenders were obviously prepped and finished before the big block went in. We've supplied a lot of undercarriage photos so you can see just how amazing this truck is from below, including that top-of-the-line Roadster Shop suspension (look them up if you don't know them they're arguably the best in the world), 14-inch Baer disc brakes, giant sway bars, coilovers, and a built 4-speed overdrive automatic from the pros at Phoenix Transmission in Weatherford, Texas. The amazing custom dual exhaust system was put together by Kenny's Muffler Shop with exits just beyond the rear wheels and it sounds pretty much better than anything I've ever heard emitting from a vintage truck. High-dollar Budnik wheels will always look great on GM muscle, and these color-matched and staggered beauties are no exception, wearing fat 255/40/19 front and 335/30/20 rear Pirelli performance tires that finish the look and grip asphalt like no other rubber really can.
Built for show yet absolutely functional, this recently restored pickup (only 1,792 miles on the build!) embodies vastly more work than your average restomod C-10 special. There's surely vastly more than the asking price tied up in this amazing build, so if you like the look you're going to love the way it eats up the road. Call today!
