1968 Chevrolet Camaro Description

1968 Chevy Camaro rolling project carThis car is a great project for someone to finish their way while starting with something that has already had a bunch of time and money spent on it. Alot of time consuming hard work has been done but there is still plenty left to do. Most of the metal work needed is basicly finish work other than the driver side quarter skin needing to be installed. I will try to break everything down the best I can and list everything that I know has been done or is with the car. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will answer the best I can.The car is a roller, no engine or transmission.Mini tubbed approx 3"12 bolt rearend with LS1 style disc brake calipers with drilled and slotted rotors (not plumbed)Per previous owner it is rebuilt with 3.55 gears, posi and new axles. The front subframe has been rebuilt with new prothan bushings all around 2" springs bilstein shocksThe front spindles have been modified for the LS1 style front calipers and drilled and slotted rotors to installed. The firewall has been mostly smoothed with the LS1 style brake booster and master cylinder bolted up. (no lines)Power steering box with a brand new Flaming River tilt aluminum column installed with mount kit. The manual pedals and gas pedal have been powder coated and new pedal covers installed.Floor pans replaced decent job, not 100% professional.New rocker panels and inner and outer wheel houses installed.Weld in subframe connectors installed.Narrowed rear frame rails installed with crossmember tied into subframe connectorsNew rear leaf springs, shackles, bushings etc installed. New bilstein shocks in box.Passenger side full rear quarter installed.LED tail lights mountedTrunk floor modified with new fuel cell sitting in place. Needs final mounting.New tail panel installedBoth front fenders are newGM used cowl hood (take $300 off final price if you do not want hood)Inner fenders and hood hinges cleaned and painted. Need touch ups.Shaved drip rails. Both door shells are new, whole doors not just skins. Original regulators, handles, glass etc are in boxes.New Ron Davis aluminum radiator with dual electric fans for LS swap sitting in place. Never used or wired upNew 17x8 and 17x9 aftermarket wheelsTires were new when previous owner started project and still have the stickers on them, unfortunately age and sitting in the shed has caused some dry rot in them so just consider them nice looking rollers. Wheels are fine..Original bucket seats and rear seat included, new seat covers come with it.New parts not installed:NEW American Autowire Classic update wiring kit in boxNew black carpetNew black seat covers in box for front and backNew rear spoiler sitting in placeNew front spoiler with mounting braces and hardwareNew 3 point black front seat belt setupNew door mirrorsNew rearview mirror and mount kitNew Flowmast American Thunder exhaust system still in boxNew core support sitting in placeNew Wilwood brake proportioning valveNew driver side "90%" quarter panel includedNew rear deck panel under rear window installed.Big items that I know it needs that are not included:EngineTransmissionWindshieldRear windowFront and rear bumpersFront grill assembly and headlight mounts etcHeadlinerFuel and brake linesGauge clusterDash padSoft parts such as door panels, weatherstripping, etcSteering wheelThe car is a great start to a very nice project. I just have too much going on right now and no need to let it sit like the previous owner did. It needs to be finished and enjoyed. The parts included and all of the metal work done is a huge head start. Please ask any questions before bidding. I will try to update the listing if I think of anything that I missed.$500 paypal deposit due within 24 hours of auction end.Remaining balance of purchase price due within 7 days or when car is picked up whichever comes first.
