Very Rare Original condition 1954 Chevy Suburban
1954 Chevrolet Suburban Description
1954 Chevy Suburban:
Here’s an Early 50's hard to find 'Thriftmaster' Chevy Suburban. Though aged, it is very straight and is nearly 100% complete - including Original Factory Rear Seats and Pop-Up Jump Seat. It is not running now, motor not turning, transmission holds, steers fine. Vehicle last registered in 1980's.
Also: * Desirable 1954 Grille, updated fully lubricated Stovebolt-6. * Original Chevy Radio, Factory Directionals, Spotlight. Original Hub Caps. * Trans and Motor: This motor is the correct motor, same edition as factory that year, but a replacement 'parts' motor apparently built late 1950's. Transmission is 4-Speed, Floor Shifter, seems to work fine. Holds strongly.
History: * This Suburban was originally a Boy Scout vehicle in N Mexico, then it went to Maine, then Massachusetts where I bought it.
Other Information: * Regarding 'Title' : This vehicle has not been registered since 1980's and so there is no current title. * Glass is mostly good - One slider window was lost; Custom reproduction included - see pictures. * Frame seems quite solid. Minor support member under Jump Seat is decayed. * Starter works: New pedal switch.
Please message with any questions. I will provide phone # if requested. Vehicle available for viewing:The vehicle is located conveniently near I-90 in Albany, NY
