Up for auction is a 1987 El Camino SS. GM Chevrolet first introduced the El Camino in 1959… the last year of production (5th Generation) was 1987.

I am selling this car for my good friend and my long-time mechanic. He purchased the El Camino 14 years ago in 2006 and is the third owner of the car.

The El Camino is rust free and has never been in accident, I have the current clean Carfax report in hand.

The mileage on the odometer is 80,768 however it is miles exempt because of the age. The engine is not original to the car. Mr. Tommy installed the rebuilt 350/330hp motor a few years back and it has only 1200-1500 miles on the motor. The engine was bored .030 over with a 10/10 crankshaft, Z-28 valve springs, 330hp GM camshaft, and the top of the block has never been cut.

The AC blows nice and cold, it has new tires, 700R4 transmission with Overdrive and a 3.08 limited slip rear end. This El Camino is very well kept/serviced/pampered/ and loved. He does have the curtain for behind the seat not shown in the pictures.

You will not find a better running and driving El Camino anywhere. It is strong and its dependable. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive across country in it right now. Mr. Tommy has always cared for the car in top-notch fashion. This is not a flawless high-end show car; however it is a great driver and weekend show car that anyone will be proud to own.
