1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Concours Resto-Mod 201 Miles Maroon Station Wagon 350ci
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Concours Resto-Mod Description
1970 Chevelle Concours #2840
The Chevelle Concours was just one of several wagons offered by Chevrolet in 1970. However, we don't believe that GM ever produced one like this resto-mod Concours. Our professionally restored Chevelle is a head-turner. The wagon was re-sprayed a stunning deep Metallic Maroon with white SS accent stripping and SS trim logos. The Chevelle appears to have had a front clip that was taken from a '72 Chevelle SS, but we do not have the history/documentation. Final exterior accents include excellent chrome/stainless, a dual-action tailgate and beautiful Riddler polished alloys (18/20") with Delinte radials. (Note: There is a very small paint bubble on the right rear fender.) The raised SS-style hood gives a clue to what resides beneath - a 350ci small-block that has been built. The 'mouse' is fitted with an aluminum intake, performance carburetor, aluminum radiator and tube headers. This motor sounds very strong. A 4-speed manual gearbox w/Hurst shifter provides power to and a factory differential with street gearing. The solid chassis is equipped with power steering, power-assisted front discs/rear drums w/dual master, front sway bar, coil-over rear shocks and custom exhaust. A restored black vinyl interior features include Vintage A/C, SS gauge package w/tach, tinted windows, SS wheel, Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo system and folding rear seat. This unique Chevelle Concours wagon will vastly improve the appearance of your garage – and your heart rate on the street. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
