1987 Chevrolet Cavalier Convertible Description

1987 Chevrolet Cavalier Convertible, .8 Efi 6 cylinder automatic front wheel drive. had this vehicle for about a year in that time I have only put 584 miles on her, othing wrong with the car just no time to play. Everything on this car works as it was designed to do, wo minor faults, he central locking doesn't, oors have to be locked individually and the speaker on the passengers side has a loose wire which causes the radio to have a crackling noise every now and then, hat's it. The car drives beautifully, ith plenty of power, t changes up and down great, nd stops great. The bodywork on the car is almost mint, he interior was reupholstered just before I got it, nfortunately someone smoked in the car and managed to put 2 or 3 cigar ash burns on the seats, ne on the back of the drivers seat, ow I don't know, ut the interior still looks fabulous. The roof is a power top and it goes up and down with no problems, he back window is clear and the roof itself is very good condition, nd there is a boot to cover the roof when down, think it's in the photographs, t isn't fixed I just laid it on top of the folded down roof. The rims are very unusual, ever seen any like them anywhere, ut look great though to be perfect they need to be powder coated or painted.
Chevrolet made thousands and thousands of cavaliers in the day, don't know where they all went, s I have only seen one other at any car shows or cruise ins that I've been too, nd that was at a Chevy only show.
I bought this car off an older gentleman, e refused a very good offer from a lady who wanted to give it to her 16 year old son, e told me the car deserves better than to be trashed within 6 months, tend to agree with him, t does deserve to be preserved, he state of Florida classes all vehicles over 10 years old as mileage exempt, hough the condition of the car makes me think the mileage may well be correct but of course I can't guarantee that, nd status of antique vehicle at 30 years, o this will be an antique next year. There is a folder with the vehicle, f past expenditure, hat of course will go with the car.
