Chevrolet; 1969 Corvette 427 w/Side Pipes
1969 Chevrolet Corvette Description
This is a body on frame restore. There are simply too many new parts to list. I do have receipts for most everything I've purchased along with work I have had done ($8K +). I will mention that heads have been rebuilt with hardened seats so can safely run unleaded gas, new radiator mount, new Hurst shifter, new Holley 750 double pump carb, new Comp Cam 550 lift, new intake (Edelbrock Torker), new exhaust manifolds (coated), new Cooper Cobra Tires, front and rear end rebuild, along with many other new parts. Car is on the road, runs and drives great.
Other things to mention:Car is original side pipe big block 427 400hpCurrent engine block casting #3955270 (1969 427)Engine # T092OLM - 1969 Corvette 390HP, 4-speedNOTE: This is a blank pad motor with no vin# stamp.
Posi rear end - 427 HD #3899143, 1AU 12468, 3:36 gears
Munci 4-speed M22 transmission, casting #3925660 (1968-1970)
Low option car, no power brakes or steering
Heater core has been bypassed
Overall interior is in good driver condition. All gauges work with exception of clock and not all of the fiber optic lights work.
Seats are from a 1970 or 71 vette (new foam)
All lights, blinkers and emergency brake works. Car was just inspected
Windshield wipers do not work. The wiper door does work. Has not been a priority for me to fix because car is never driven in rain.
I do have spare tire tub that will go with the car.
I tried to point out flaws in paint with pics (some paint chipping, dimples on front which is common with these cars). You may choose to have repaint, touch up or just leave alone. I believe it to be mostly original paint.Car looks great and gets a lot of attention at cruise nights.
You will not find another big block Corvette in this great of shape with a reserve as low as I have set....... I'm selling car to help fund another project I have. I really hate to see this car go......
I can send video of car running upon request. Please call or text Joe @585-415-6204 if you have any questions.
