1968 Chevrolet Camaro Description

This beautiful super solid highly modified Camaro show car is a true southern car, itwas purchased new at John Smith Chevrolet in Atlanta GA and retained by that owner until2003. This Camaro has won over 60 classic car shows in the Georgia area as well as the Contemporary Historical Vehicle Association show which is a National Show, multiple "World of Wheels" winner, see photo of trophies won.

a 355 small block that produces over 500 horsepower at the crank, it is balanced and blueprinted with all the best in high performance components with World Heads, 650 DemonCarb, chrome Edelbrock intake, full length jet hot coated headers. All engine accessory components are either chromed or polished to a high luster, winner of many "Best Engine" classes.

The power is mated to a modified 700R4 transmission with Corvette servos and converter. Driven through a 10 bolt 8.5" with Auburn 373 gears and Eaton carrier.

Four wheel Wilwood disc brakes w/drilled and slotted rotors and red painted calipers.

The custom interior/trunk was hand made by Wilson Interiors of Rockmart GA. Vintage heating and air was added. The interior hasbeen undated with Auto Meter pod and gauges. Grant GT custom steering wheel. New Sony sound w/Ipod connection.

The exterior is painted in Electron Blue Pearl w/ Cortez Silver strips accented with red pin stripping and is a solid 9 of 10. All lighting is LED.
