Matching numbers/Original engine 327 ci Corvette. I'm the 3rd owner and I've owned it since 1987. It has been in California since the early 1980's. It was built on 3/2/1965 and delivered to Salina Motors, Syracuse, NY. It was purchased new by first owner in Syracuse. I have the original Protect-O-Plate, original manual, and original dealer sales invoice that indicates it was sold with a powerglide transmission, positraction rear end, and am/fm radio as options. It was sold to the second owner 1/20/1980 who had Warner Corvettes (Canada) do some restoration work on it, including painting the body Rally Red (Ermine White was original color) and they replaced the two front quarter panels. Since I purchased it in 1987, I have replaced the trailing arms and bushings, replaced the Fuel Tank and sending unit, had the transmission rebuilt & new torque converter installed, and rebuilt all four brakes. The clock is correct but needs rebuilt as it doesn't keep time. The radio and power antenna motor both work great. All lights and gauges work. It runs and drives very well but does have some scratches in the paint and a paint bubble on right rear fender as shown in photos. The side pipes were not an option on this engine model and must have been added when the restoration work was done in 1980 (they look and sound great). I also have the chrome ignition covers that will go with the car along with manuals and historical literature (see photos). I have always kept it garaged in California and only driven it 1,434 miles since purchasing it in 1987, mostly to car shows and locally. At 76 years of age, I’ve decided to sell it and let someone else enjoy it. The car is located at my home in San Jose, California. The best way to reach me is to email me at: ivan65vette@gmail.com
