1969 Chevrolet Corvette Description
Cold start, drive and walk around now published on youtube. Please search "1969 L46 Corvette Stingray w/ rare factory side-pipes". Thanks!
1969 Corvette Stingray, numbers matching, no hit body, protecto-plate, L46 350/350 with very rare factory installed side-pipes. 1969 is the only year the C3 Corvette offered the side mounted exhaust as an option. 4,355 were produced, and about 40% of that year were convertibles...meaning there are less than 2,000 factory side-pipe convertible cars ever made.
This car is currently undergoing a frame on restoration, runs and drives, but circumstances have caused a need for sale. Drive train and body panels are all numbers matching, including the very rare rear valance (see pics) proving the factory side-pipe install.
This is a raw driving machine. No power steering, no tilt steering wheel, no power brakes, no A/C...but...rebuilt engine that was ported and polished, the original recored big block radiator and Hurst stock style shifter allows you to easily keep up with modern cars. The side pipes not only look incredible, but let the world know you have arrived. Title in hand.

Think about how many C3's you see with side-pipes...it's highly likely none of them came from the factory that way...it's the most popular after market mod there is...that's why this car truly is "rare"...and even Hagerty has yet to factor it into their pricing. Get ahead of the curve.
The pinnacle year of the C3 Corvette is 1969. With the C3 starting to be appreciated more and more each day by the collectors of the world, this is an investment you can drive while it appreciates in value...especially a proven factory side-pipe car.
