1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

Hello 1959 GMC 1/2 Ton Short Step side Pickup. Fresh find, being sold as is. (Low Reserve). Lost Title. Comes with good Bill of sale only. Not running and has set for a long time. I was told that the engine in it was taken out of a wrecked 1968 Corvette stingray a long time ago. It has double hump heads, 4 Barrel Carburetor and Headers.With automatic transmission. I know nothing about the running or mechanical condition. I think it is a very good candidate for project or restoration. I didn't try to start it. The engine is not stuck. I turned it a little bit by hand, but not much as the cylinders are probably dry. The block casting # is 3959512. The Heads casting # is 3991492. The intake manifold # is 3919803 and marked 1968. These numbers are pictured, so please check them and you be the judge of year and size of engine. The Grill is missing. The Truck has some surface rust and a few spots that will need some body work, otherwise pretty solid. Floor boards appear to be pretty good and solid. Wood and metal stripes in bed, not to good as pictured. Please check all pictures as they are part of the description. If any questions please feel free to call 209 966-2438.
