1958 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

It's no secret that tri-five Chevys are cool. They have loads of aftermarket support so the possibilities are truly endless. But you can't deny the handsome good looks of this 1958 Chevrolet Bel Air. It shares the same curb appeal as the popular tri-fives, but adds a twist with a unique, slightly custom look that will set it apart from the rest.

Covered in bright red paint that looks very nice, the first statement this car makes is a vivid presence. The sheet metal is flat and wears the paint well. Like a good outfit, the red and chrome contrast on this car is absolutely stunning and will remain a timeless look. One of the cool things about the '58 Chevy is the artistic use of the side fins spanning the sides of the car, to the distinctive shape at the rear that ends by framing bullet style tail lights. Covering most of the length of the car is stainless side trim that points forward like an arrow to the front where you'll notice a bright chrome bumper topped by quad head lights. It's a look that is certainly classic, but also very cool with the custom chrome wheels.

Inside is a soft, white vinyl interior that features two pleated bench seats at the front and rear.

There are custom touches throughout, with custom Bel Air stitching flanking the rear bench seat, and a center console that towers underneath the vivid red dash.

That console houses an AM/FM/CD player, as well as vents for the Vintage Air air conditioning system. The rest of the dash remains as it came in 1958 with the factory supplied instrumentation, topped by the great looking steering wheel. Its body matched with stainless inserts, so you can count on it being a classic dash that is a pleasure to look at. Out back is a custom leather lined trunk that looks great, but is still usable with plenty of storage room.

But...the show stopper of this Bel Air is when you lift the hood! Cradled in that bright red engine bay is a healthy 454 cubic inch V8. To keep things cool it sends water through an aluminum radiator, so this big block is ready for warm weather idling that shouldn't cause any drama. The underpinnings remain fairly stock with hardware that has been freshened up, rest assured this car is ready to tick on many more miles. With that 454 sending exhaust gasses through a dual exhaust system, driving this car will be a blast as it produces an incredible sound.
