Up for auction is a 1969 Chrysler Newport. Owned by the same family since new. It has been stored in a dry barn since 1985.
Engine is 383 that starts right up and runs well. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Installed a new master cylinder and the brakes work fine. Exhaust is a little loud.
The body is in pretty good shape. The floors and trunk are really solid. There is some rust in the lower quarters behind the wheels. Tires are a bit old. There is some missing trim but it is pretty cheap on line.
The interior is ok. During its storage, the headliner made a nice home for a family of mice they left a few holes. The interior lights work as do the instruments and gauges.
