1939 Chrysler Royal DELUXE Description

Gorgeous 1939 Chrysler Royal in great condition. Tastefully updated upholstery and painted in a silver ice metallic. Great runner driver 3 speed with overdrive, 241.5 cubic inch 6 cylinder original engine with updated 12volt electrical system. Hard to find these days as most coupes and 2 door cars are gone. Jay Leno has a '39 Royal that was featured on his show "Jay Leno's Garage".Included with purchase are the shop manual and tune up guides. The car does have blemishes, but is driven monthly. The drivers side quarter panel has a scrape incurred from the previous owner when moving the car out of his enclosed car trailer. The car's history is unknown, but our family has enjoyed taking it to local car shows, and monthly cars and coffee meet ups. The vehicle is a confident cruiser and is quite capable keeping up with modern traffic on the highway despite only 100 hp engine. Manual Shifting is accomplished via column mounted shift lever and overdrive engages automatically above 25 m.p.h. in the top two gears.
