1961 Citroën DS DS 19 Description

Very rare 1961 Citroen DS 19. Do not let the looks fool you - this car is a good driver. With some effort it can be restored to much better quality. The previous owner spent a lot of money on this at a Citroen specialist (Dave Burman in Albany NY). I have a video of the car running I can send via email or text.
This car is a good driver but body needs work. The car starts, runs and drives good. Engine sounds good and transmission shifts well through all 4 speed. Clutch feels good. All fluids are up to date. The body needs work and paint (but you can drive it as is). The fiberglass roof is in good shape. All glass is good. There are rust spots on floors as seen in pics in the gallery link, but nothing bad. There are also some surface rust points on some areas of the body, but all can be repaired. The seats are very nice for their age. The door panels are off (in the trunk) and are old. Dash is good. The wheels and tires are good but old. The unique hydraulic suspension is working great, and the brakes are in good shape. All the lights work. Clean New Jersey title.
