What we have here is a 1929 Desoto 4 door sedan .This vehicle is the classic " Basket Case " Vehicle was torn apart 30-40 years ago and an amateur restoration was started but never completed. The sheet metal is in super condition, no dents, creases or rust. Only rust through are some pin holes on the lower cowl bottom. Doors are solid and straight. Bottoms in perfect shape. Fenders are perfect. 4 wooden spoke wheels appear to be tight and rot free. The engine is rusted in place but it appears all the pieces are there. There is a brand new clutch disc that was never installed.Headlights are complete. No apparent chips or cracks in the lenses. Dash is complete, EVEN HAVE THE KEY!!!! Exterior body panels were primered but car was stored in a portable garage but the top ripped several years ago so the main body was partially in the weather. Doors, fenders,hood, and cowl were stored in an attic. Front seat is there but needs re-upholstering. Rear seat springs are there along with some door side panels for patterns. Major drawback is there are no roof pieces for patterns. If you have a car with good wood but bad sheet metal, this is the car for you!! Also starting to get surface rust on the doors and rear body due to it being stored outside over the years ( inside now ). Oh, did I mention I have a title? Signed by previous owner. I can transfer it to my name or you can get it transferred directly to yours if you prefer. Absolutely will not part out. I will hold car for 30 days, if paid in full, and suggest an independent inspection before you buy it to make sure it's what you want and in the condition described.
