1990 Dodge W250
1990 Dodge Other Pickups Description
Have a 1990 Dodge W250. Odometer reads 143,596 but of course stopped working and roughly has about 160,000 to 170,000. Has big dents on passenger side fender door and bed. Previous owner tried to do some bondo work that needs to be taken off of course. Definitely needs body work and paint job. No rust that is not surface rust if any. Truck has been in California it's whole life as far as I know and looks like it with no rust. Front end has been converted to 1991 to 1993 grill and core support due to cooling issues. Aftermarket grille. Put in aftermarket aluminum radiator and has new thermostat and 1991 to 1993 thermostat housing and fan shroud. New water pump and KDP has been resolved. Water temp gauge and 3 pod gauge on dash with 2 more openings. 4x4 works good transmission shifts good is a 3 speed. Looks like has fluid around it but doesn't drip on driveway? Does have a small leak on lower radiator hose can't tell if it is coming from hose or clamp is too tight. Still have all original parts of front grille and core support will go with truck. Needs Tires Front Drivers Side tire leaks down about every month. Have a set of aftermarket wheels that need some polishing that will go with truck. Have a rhino front brush guard will go as well. Previous owner rewired the truck and removed a few things like the pcm and grid heaters which I have and will go with truck. Truck has been overcharging going to replace voltage regulator this weekend and will update information. I have ran a few new 2/0 wire for alternator and starter and grounds trying to resolve this issue and still overcharging so probably regulator. Will need suspension work such as new springs and probably new bearings has the death wobble about 25mph but then cruises straight at 70mph. Did remove brake controller was going to put new one in but didn't get to. Tried to list everything I had plans to fix this up and be my daily driver but don't have time due to fixing my house up also. Hate to give it up just love 1st gen dodges hope it goes to a good home for someone to fix up. Sorry about long description thanks for looking.
Update:: forgot I have also a new wix fuel filter with the adapter from genos garage to eliminate the factory fuel filter and water separator. Also just had service about 3 months ago new fuel filter oil change and air filter probably about 1,000 miles ago, on't drive it much.
