1973 dodge challenger rallye 340
1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye Description
1973 Challenger Rallye 340. Lots of new parts on this Challenger including new carpet, new sheetmetal (quarters, dutchman panel, trunk extensions), new vinyl top, newer paintjob. Interior is surprisingly enough original, it is missing the front door panels and has a crack in the center of the dash near the windshield, also has a new headliner and finished trunk, was an A/C car from the factory but that is long gone, also had rear defrost which is still in the car. Original glass has been tinted. Power steering and brakes, 3.23 sure grip 8-3/4 axle. I have the original numbers matching 340 with the car that I'm told has TRW pistons and redone heads with 2.02 intake valves and hardened seats, does have a very mild aftermarket cam installed too. I have a non numbers 727 to go with the car. The last owner had started to convert the car to a stick car by adding the hump in and purchasing a set of Keisler conversion pedals for the car but they weren't installed. Car came to me with a few boxes of parts, the original bumpers, and a pair of front brackets to hang a 70-2 bumper up front.
The car will need the engine finished and I would imagine the trans looked at, as well as suspension, brakes, and fuel system redone but the hard part of paint and interior is done, wouldn't be too hard to finish up and have a cool cruiser by spring!
Message me with any questions, I'll try to add more/better photos when I can get them
