1971 Dodge Challenger R/T Description

This auction is for the 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T you see pictured. This car needs total restoration but is a very rare Hemi Orange Challenger R/T with factory N96 Shaker Hood and Rear Go Wing (both of which are long gone) that still has its original factory paint. The factory paintlets the buyer know what he is getting without any surprisesthat cars have withrepaints. It was a vinyl top car so there is rust around the top as can be seen in the pictures. There is also rust in the floor pans and trunk andsome areas of rust in the lower outside quarter panelsThis is NOT a northern rusty car as theundercarriage and frame rails are in very good condition as can be seen in the pictures. The VIN tag and Fender tag are original and matching as well as the clear title in my name. All the glass has the Mopar Star and I assume is original. Windshield is cracked. I do not have the engine or Transmission. All the sheet metal is original except the hood. The trunk lid still has the factory holes where the rear wing was mounted. The doors, door jambs and rockers are very solid with the exception of a small rust spot on the drivers door. This car is very restorable and Very rare with Only 102 R/Ts built with the N96 Shaker Hood. Factor in Hemi Orange, Rear Go Wing, Bucket Seats, Floor Shift Console andother desirable options and this is probablyone of very few. I invite any potential buyers to come see the car or have a representative come see the car at any time. The car is being sold as-is with no type of warranty as is common when selling old cars.
