1969 Dodge Daytona Daytona Description

This is the best of both worlds, all the conveniences of a modern vehicle with the look of a factory hot rod. Built just like the original 69 cars by Creative Industries Michigan, this car was built by HPP Madison Heights, Michigan, both are near the Dodge plant. This car is the First Daytona built, it has all the available options from HPP. Daytona Conversion-Package includes: 3 piece rear wing, functional nose cone with headlight doors. Daytona taillight overlays, short throw pistol grip, rear fender scoops and Daytona graphics. This includes rear diffuser w/side exhaust and normal side markers, high kick-up rockers, fender gills, polished HPP hood pins, Shaker hood, rear window louvers.

This is a 2010 Dodge Challenger RT classic with a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona conversion. The 69 Daytona was designed by Nascar and tested in a wind tunnel and set many records in Nascar and also the Plymouth Super Bird driven by Richard Petty #43. Many people didn't like these cars because of their style, but these cars were not built for looks. The cars were built for speed and performance. These cars were the fastest Nascar had ever seen. That being said, this car features fully functional nosecone headlight doors that fold down instead of popping up, they operate on a sensor actuator that senses when the lights are on or off. Other features of the car would be a fully functional shaker hood with 3" tubing directly to the intake that is dyno-tested to add 35 horsepower. This includes a Custom built short throw pistol grip shifter, a full lower body kit for wind resistance, custom side exit exhaust, 69 Dodge Charger tail lights, rear wind louvers, and a fully adjustable rear wing that is designed to hold down the rear of the car at the speeds of190MPH.
