Always garaged.100% Rust free, dry, life long San Diego car bought right here at Carl Burger Dodge in La Mesa. Its never seen a day of snow or a salty road in its life! Lots of original paperwork including: Window sticker, purchase order, books, Protect-O-Plate and its original Cali black and yellow license plates.
~The car was parked inside the garage back in 1988 due to the owner getting too old to drive. I purchased the car from her son last year and have gone completely through everything to put her back on the road.I had the original 361 V8 completely rebuilt less than 100 miles ago. Comes with 1 year warranty.New gas tankNew 3 row aluminum radiatorNew gas tankAll new brakesServiced and resealed the transmission. All new fluids, hoses, belts, starter, plugs, wires, alternator, ect....
~The body is very straight. Paint appears to be original. Looks great and shines up nicely but does have a few chips and a slight patina. Very presentable as a driver. It would be a shame to paint it. I would leave it exactly like it is. They're only original once. The undercarriage is perfect! Just like you would expect form a dry California car. All original sheet metal with absolutely NO rust.
~Runs and drives like a dream! Engine fires right up! Transmission shifts smooth. steering is tight, brakes are excellent. Drives straight down the road. Does not overheat.
~The interior is completely original and in great shape for being nearly 54 years old. Shows some wear on the driver side seat. Everything else is very nice. All of the glass is good. Gauges are nice and bright. Headliner is perfect.
