More desirable - Big Back Window BBW.
Slant six engine.
1-bbl carburetor.
If you are interested in the truck, it can be test-driven, and is ready to drive. Very fun to drive on open road, yet maybe not as fun in rush hour traffic without power steering and disc brakes. I was going to turn it into my next project but am overwhelmed with too many other things going on that came up, and not enough shop space. This 3-pedal truck would be a great hot rod, restomod or farm cruiser for the Mopar enthusiast.
I purchased this from the second owner. The truck has been in Arizona since at least 1993. This is originally a California truck prior to that.
Rather than buying a Chevy C10, this D100 will turn some heads no matter what your plans are with it.
Starts easily regardless of how hot or cold it is.
Runs smooth and reliable.
Drives fantastic with minimal play in the steering.
4-wheel factory drum brakes work as they should.
Factory original hubcaps.
P235/75R15 Tires, spare matches the 4 on vehicle.
3-speed floor transmission up shifts and downshifts with no problems.
Factory column shifter was removed.
Manual steering box has a very slow leak that may leave a spot on the ground periodically.
Clutch feels great.
Headlights, turn signals, wipers, heater, horn, tachometer and cigarette lighter work.
No stereo.
Interior has sun visors and Wink rear view mirror setup.
Battery is fairly new, see photo.
Spare tire included.
Odometer has been stuck at 26,520 miles for a long time, broken gear in rear end mechanism, which is likely an easy fix.
Original color was yellow, as shown in interior. Exterior was painted white many years ago by previous owner. Shows a cool patina inside and out. Minor dents here and there along body. Each door has rust at the bottom rear corner, as most of these trucks have that problem over time. Still looks great for a 48-year old truck.
All four rims and tires match. Driver and Passenger side floor plans have minor rust, see photos.
Still has original gas tank behind the seats.
All weather stripping & rubber is due to be replaced, yet windows roll up and down without a problem.
Outer door handles could use some attention with new clips inside to make them open easier. The button protrudes out a bit extra, and after you learn the trick, its still easy to open the doors from the outside, its just not like it was when new.
Not factory bench seat, but later model bucket type seats with lap belts.
Fuel gauge works somewhat, as its wired backward. So, when it’s full, the gauge reads “E.” When it leans toward ¼ tank line, its time to think about adding fuel.
