1951 Dodge Coronet Description

1951 Dodge Coronet

Runs and drives and stops. Electrical works, has a brand new battery. Has original interior. Glass is good and windows roll up and down as they should.

Wipers work, most lights work, horn works.

Chrome and stainless is in pretty good shape.

I changed the oil and anti freeze. Rebuilt the master cylinder and replaced one wheel cylinder.
Car was painted the original Seamist Green color in the early 80's and last plated and driven in 1985. It has been stored in a dry garage since then. Color has a nice shine and overall a very nice paint job.

Nice older restoration that does not need much to be a fine driver.

Trunk area is solid.

6 cylinder, 3 speed manual transmission with Dodge Fluid Drive.
I have some of the sale paperwork from the last 2 owners, including a 2 page written history of the car from a previous owner. Also some vintage documentation on brake work, new shocks, tune up, and muffler.
Odometer shows 46,xxx miles.
Clear Minnesota title in my name in hand.

Known issues

Some rust in floor. Most is by the driver’s front. 5-10% perhaps. I few patches in place.

Some rust on rocker backer.

Speedometer does not work.

Right headlight trim ring is cracked.

“D” in Dodge is missing one fastener, as is the hood emblem.

Right front brake is leaking a bit.

Tires hold air, but are old and weather checked.

Wiper knob is missing

Interior is complete, but original with some stains, tears, etc.

Windshield glass gasket is sealed with black silicone.

Fuel tank has a small sealant patch.

Heat control valve had a small leak. It has been bypassed.

Missing the right front side stainless steel trim.

A few chips in the paint. Most on left rear quarter panel. Looks like car door chips.

Sold as is, where is. Buyer is responsible to make, and pay for, all transportation arrangements.

$500 Paypal deposit 24 hours after auction ends. Balance in cash at pick up.

I can store the car for several weeks after sale, but will not be available the week of July 4th for you to pick it up.

Good luck bidding, and thanks!
