1960 Edsel Ranger Description

Hello everyone. I'm helping my good friend sell his 1960 Edsel Ranger 4 Door Sedan. It is truly a spectacular car! Full documentation comes with the car to confirm the following: It was purchased new in January 1960, in Redding California. The buyer was the Parts Dept. Manager for the Redding area Edsel Dealer. His name was Earl. In one of the photos below, you'll notice a Factory Repair Manual with a Technicians Work Coat, with his name on the front; this was Earl's coat. The new vehicle Window Sticker & copy of the original Pink Slip is included.

The car has spent its entire life in Redding. My friend purchased the car from Earl in April 2004. At that time, it had less than 40,000 miles. It currently has only 44,435 miles!

The car has never been in an accident, never been repainted, rarely spent a night outside! It's a beautiful, original car, in absolutely unbelievable, gorgeous condition!!! The chrome & stainless trim is super bright, no dings, dents, or tarnish, etc.

Remember when you were a kid, your parents would take their new car and add that plastic bubble covering to the seats & door panels? Well, this car still has that bubble covering intact on both the front & rear seats. The upholstery is pristine! It's remarkable the condition of the interior.

The vehicle has been meticulously maintained. It starts, runs, drives, and performs like a brand new car from 1960.

Prior to the photos being taken, its car cover was removed. No prior detailing took place. The car, simply is that nice!

An opportunity to acquire a collector vehicle of this quality & condition doesn't appear very often... especially at this low of an auction reserve price. Please feel free to ask any questions, or request pictures of anything you'd like to see.

We appreciate your time in viewing this vehicle, and thank you for your interest.
