1960 Edsel Ranger 4 door sedan, barn find!
1960 Edsel Ranger Description
1960 Edsel Ranger 4 door sedan This is a completely original car and is about as rust free as they come! The story I got was that it was out of Texas and looking at the bottom of the car, I have no reason to doubt it! It is VERY clean, even underneath. I have gone through the brakes and suspension, changed fluids…she’s ready to go! The color is Sahara Beige with a Polar White top and a little bit of art work as you can see in the pics. I drove it to Back to the 50’s in Minneapolis last year from Sioux Falls and had no issues at all. As a treat for her doing so well, I had pinstriping added to the hood and trunk. The front seat needs reupholstery, and three of the side windows are cracked. The windshield is also cracked but I have another one, it just needs to be put in. The carpet in the front is gone, so you can see how clean the floors are. I added a USB port under the dash for your phone. The clock in the dash even works! Engine is original 292 Y-block with a Ford-O-Matic 2 speed automatic transmission that runs, drives, and shifts good. Manual steering, manual brakes, manual windows and locks. Exhaust sounds really good! This is a rare, rare car! Edsel was out of business in late 1959, so this is one of 2,288 4 door sedans built for 1960. You think a Cadillac trunk is big?
