Finished in excellent and original Rosso Corsa FER 300/9 red with all-new tan leather on the seats, new leather on the dark brown dash and console and new light brown carpets with contrasting dark brown kick panels. As a pride-of-ownership and ready-to-go Ferrari, s/n 83839 has just completed an engine-out cam belt service and a new clutch assembly at a cost of $19,392.40 and so needs nothing. Testarossa s/n 83839 also comes with the full tool set (all with the correct Ferrari stamp) in their vinyl tool roll, the jack kit and the jack bag with the tow hook, the tire iron, the spare accessory belts and the spare fuse and bulb container. Also comes with the Factory red car cover and the original “thin line” spare wheel and tire.

In April of 2015 Testarossa s/n 83839 had the front bumper and spoiler repainted, the left and right door grilles repainted, new tumblers for the right and left front door installed and the fuse box assembly replaced by South Bay Autohaus, 4875 W. Only six months later, in October, Testarossa s/n 83839 had the dash, the center console and the door panel arm rests removed and recovered in the correct dark brown leather. Both seats and the door panels were also recovered in the correct tan leather. New tan carpets with matching dark brown kick panels were fitted and a custom fabricated skid was fitted under the front spoiler. All work was done by Haas Entertainment, 5774 Uplander Way, Culver City, CA. The total invoice was $8,778.00. In February of 2017 the seat belt retractors were replaced, the emergency brake switch was replaced and the front hood compartment shocks were replaced. All work was done by Haas Entertainment, Culver City, CA. The total invoice was $2,157.21. Only ten months ago, in March of 2017, a new factory window motor was installed on the passenger side and the window switch on driver’s side was also replaced by Haas Entertainment. The total invoice was $1,034.14.

Paintless dent removal repaired small dents on the driver’s door. A new hood pad was fitted and the engine lid was aligned after all work was completed. A complete new clutch assembly was installed. The total invoice was $19,392.40 and the mileage was 19,463. Copies of all service records are available by PDF and a no-stories Carfax is on file. Call or e-mail for copies.

The Testarossa was introduced at the 1984 Paris Auto Show as a formidable yet user-friendly competitor to Lamborghini’s Countach, thanks in part to its all-new 4-valve heads, putting out 380 bhp at 6300 rpm. Motivated by the four valve version of Ferrari’s horizontally opposed flat-twelve cylinder engine, the Testarossa was quick, comfortable and made all the right sounds. Stylistically, the Testarossa stunned the world with its avant garde styling. Long, low and wide, the Testarossa appeared even more so thanks to the extensive use of horizontal slatting, a feature that would later be replicated both on other Ferraris and on many other lesser cars. Thanks to its user friendly cabin and creature comforts, the Testarossa was very plush with leather seats, rear shelf, headliner and visors. Beneath these striking features was a surprisingly organic and handsome form that remains as stunning today as it was over thirty years ago. The front compartment is reasonably sized and the car is very comfortable, easy to drive and has great visibility, making it an ideal way to cover long distances at high speeds in comfort. Top speed was good for 180 mph while 0-60 took just 5.2 seconds. Today, the Testarossa is undoubtedly the bargain of the classical flat-12 Ferrari world, offering stunning good looks, unique styling, acres of torque and effortless performance at a great price!

Testarossa s/n 83839 has only 19,463 original miles and is in exceptional condition, in keeping with its well-documented and well-maintained ownership. The paintwork is exceptional and shows very nicely with no noticeable blemishes. The front spoiler was just repainted because of the usual road rash, as one would expect with 19,463 miles. Testarossa s/n 83839 is mounted on an excellent set of BF Goodrich 225/50ZR16 front and 255/50ZR16 rear. The wheels are in excellent condition with no curbing. All of the car’s glass and trim are scratch and wear free. Panel fit is excellent as one would expect, and the body is straight and true. All switches and related trim parts are in excellent condition with no sticky residue. The dashboard and console have all-new leather so they are “as-new”. Both seats and door panels have also been recovered in all-new leather and so are also “as-new”. The carpets, floor mats and kick-panels are also all-new. The engine compartment and trunk are immaculate. Because of its low mileage, tools, documentation and extensive recent service history, this extremely well-preserved Testarossa is a stunning example. Testarossa s/n 83839 is a pride of ownership collector car with all the goodies ready to go. Runs great, shows and drives as new. Thanks to a complete and near-new interior and a just completed engine-out cam belt service at $19,392.40, Testarossa s/n 83839 is priced right at $129,500 or best offer.
