1984 Fiat 124 Spider Description

I'm selling my 1984 Pinny Azzura, a rare jewel and in excellent condition.
You can see more about the history of this model and the relationship with Fiat Spiders here:http://www.pininfarinaazzurra.com/Basically in 1983, the Ferrari designer Sergio Pininfarina took over the iconic Fiat 124 Spider and upscaled it in a number of ways. This car is awesome.

I bought this a couple years ago in great shape, then went over anything that needed attention. I've had 4 Spiders over the years, and this one has benefited from all that experience.I'm losing my garage space and moving to Michigan, and this car is too nice for urban street parking in the meantime.
89k milesNew top end ~1000 miles back by the Ferrari/Lambo mechanic who sold me the car (15 year second-owner)Needless to say, it runs great and is super strong.
Here's the list of new stuff in the last year:- Complete interior fabric and panels (seat skins, carpet, rear platform, trunk panels and carpet, door panels)- New fuel tank, fuel pump, filter and flexible fuel lines- New thermostat (4-hose setup), fan switch, temperature sensor and temperature gauge sender- New heater core and fan- New seat heaters- Sweet new stereo, front and rear speakers, 100 WPC amp, automatic antenna- New Ansa exhaust, new front muffler, and cat was new just before I bought the car. Sweeet sound!- New steering linkage and rebuilt steering box, very tight- New rear view mirror- Reinforced/welded Front driver-side door hinge point (door suffered from the common Fiat hinge-point cracking)
Soft top was replaced about 3 years ago and garaged most of the time since. Perfect shape.Tires are in good shape, brakes are pretty fresh, suspension nice and tight.Set up with a short shifter now that I prefer, but I have the full height parts that snap on easily. It could use a new upper shifter boot ($20), and the lower/inner boot is new.A/C was removed by me. I have most of the parts, and it's pretty easy to install/remove. Waaay better without it though for the passenger seat leg room.
Body is 9+/10. All panels perfectly flat and solid, no rust. One small ding on passenger door from the last Italian car show (urgh!)Paint is 7+/10. It was overcoat-repainted a few years ago, and any chips have been touched up and protected over the years.Engine is 9/10 and very well cared for. Heads could be repainted for aesthetics, but everything is in good shape or replaced. The stock heavy-bumpers could use tear-down and powdercoat, as they are a bit rusty. I've had them removed the whole time, preferring the bumperette look. Front air dam is available, but also not installed right now.
Tons of extra parts, and I have all the maintenance logs and receipts for the last 15-20 years, and all of the shop manuals, diagrams, etc that exist for this car. Even have an Azzura keychain from Italy.
