1984 Fiat 124 Spider Description

In 1983, the Ferrari designer Sergio Pininfarina took over the iconic Fiat 124 Spider and upscaled it in a number of ways. The Pininfarina were made for 3 1/2 years and are rare and sought after versions of the Fiat 124 Spider.
I'm selling my 1984 Azzura, in excellent condition.
This car is awesome and drives like a grown-up go-cart, fast, low and sticky.
You can see more about the history of this model and the relationship with Fiat Spiders here:

I bought this a couple years ago in great shape, then went over anything that needed attention.
I'm losing my garage space and moving to Michigan, and this car is too nice for urban street parking in the meantime.
89k miles
New top end ~1000 miles back by the Ferrari/Lamborghini mechanic who sold me the car (15-year second-owner)
Runs super strong.
Here's the list of new stuff in the last year:
- Complete interior fabric and panels (seat skins, carpet, rear platform, trunk panels and carpet, door panels)
- New fuel tank, fuel pump, filter and flexible fuel lines
- New thermostat (4-hose setup), fan switch, temperature sensor and temperature gauge sender
- New heater core and fan
- New seat heaters
- Sweet new stereo, front and rear speakers, 100 WPC amp
- New Ansa exhaust, new front muffler, and cat was new just before I bought the car. Sweeet sound!
- New steering linkage and I rebuilt the steering box
- New rear view mirror
- Reinforced/welded Front driver hinge point (door suffered from the common hinge-point cracking)
- New Upper and lower shifter boots
Soft top was replaced about 3 years ago and garaged most of the time since. Perfect shape.
Tires are in good shape, brakes are pretty fresh.
It has a short shifter now that I prefer, but I have the full height parts that snap on.
A/C was removed by me. I have most of the parts, and it's pretty easy to install/remove. Waaay better without it for the passenger seat leg room.
Body is 9+/10. All panels flat and solid, no rust. One small ding on passenger door from the last Italian car show (urgh!)
Paint is 7+/10. It was repainted a few years ago, and any chips have been touched up and protected over the years.
Engine is 9/10 and very well cared for.
Tons of extra parts, and I have all the maintenance logs and receipts for the last 15-20 years, and all of the shop manuals, diagrams, etc that exist for this car. Even have an Azzura keychain from Italy.
