This car was totally restored in Italy by knowledgeable mechanics with a high sense of pride and craftsmanship. It started with a solid car, found after probably a year-long search. The restoration took one year, involving a complete disassembly (have documentation) and every part restored to new or replaced. It is not an original color but was painted after a custom Ferrari done at the same shop.
Since restoration, the car has been garaged and never even driven in the rain. It is a beautiful example of the classic Fiat 500 and attracts much attention. It is a consistent show winner.
I believe it has less than 2000 kilometers at this point. We start it up one a month and drive around the block. But its time for “Isabella” to go to a new home.
Faults: Driver seat bottom vinyl is cracked and repaired. Easy to put on new seat covers, I just never did. There is a small paint scrap on the rear engine cover. There is a small dent in the hood – I've had several 500s…..if you don’t make sure the front bonnet is latched properly…it flies up and hits the windshield wiper. All this is easy repaired if you desire.
This is a rust free car in fantastic condition. All mechanical and electrical great. Starts easy. Drives great. Everything works. Starts and drives every time.
I seriously doubt you will ever find a more solid Fiat 500. Title is clear and ready to sign over.
