For sale is a beautiful 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe. This rare ford maintains its original flathead V8 and rare Columbia 2 speed rear. The best word to describe this original 1940 ford is stunning. The car is what I would call a survivor with one repaint in original Ford Burgundy. The interior ismostly original with some pieces being replaced.The Flathead starts right up no smoke or noises and pulls hard thru all gears. The clutch and trans shift effortlessly and precise, and the Columbia 2 speed rear works perfectly. The body panels line up perfect no sag in doors, and absolutely zero rot or rust anywhere. The paint shines like a gem but has some cracks and a few chips due to being lacquer paint and being over30 years old. This car hasspent the last 30 years in the hands of a private collector and has never been driven in rain.
