1956 Ford C600 Description

We go this truck in on a trade for some work. The previous owner had it at his trucking shop for several years. He decided to paint it but he only fixed some minor dings and primered it. It has a few small rust spots on it but is amazingly rust free for this model. The rust is in a few small places on the steps and has one small hole in the floorboard. See the pictures. There is no rust in the back cab corners or anywhere else. Just those few small spots. Someone has taken the front bench seat out and put in just a drivers seat. All the windows are either cracked or broken. We thought we might go ahead and paint it but we're not sure what color to paint it, and we also thought of making a rollback or wrecker out of it, but it's in nice shape and runs so well, and also being so original we figured it best to let someone that wants one do what they want with it. The truck was originally green and was painted white. Then that was sanded and it was primered. It starts first time every time as we move it every time we mow. I've driven it up and down the road in front of the shop several times but worry about the brakes. We put a master cylinder on it but they bleed off even though we see no sign of leaking fluid. They will pump up though. It would make a very good truck for a project roll back or wrecker.
This truck came from the Kansas wheat fields and was used as a grain truck. It remains all original other than the primer.
We also have a 1971 Ford f 350 we got in trade. We checked the wheel base across the front and it might work for switching the cab over and making it low to the ground. It has a new 390 in it with a 4 speed and is a flatbed jim pole truck with a good wench. Runs good. If you think this combination might work and are interested let me know and I'll send some pics. This auction is for one truck, the 1956. If you are interested in the other one let me know and we'll make a deal.
If you have any questions or would like more photos please ask. It is no problem for us to take any picture anywhere on the vehicle. Buyer needs to arrange pickup or take care of the shipping. We will help load if needed. The truck doesn't have a tag and I don't know when it was tagged last, but the title can be signed, dated and notarized on the spot if needed.
