1955 Ford Other COE Cabover Description

I am listing this for an older friend that is not computer savv, So any questions should be directed to hi, Call him anytime between 7AM and 8PM MS, @ 4O6=59I=9O9O, and he would be happy to answer any questions not covered below.
This is just a good ol' work truc, the only rust through I can see is on the lower lip of the hood openin, (shown in pictures , The cab corners are solid, as are the floors, door edges, and the rest. There is minor damage on the bod, consisting of the dent in the fender where I got too close with a Bobca, while plowing snow . ( easy fix )a couple dents on to, and anothe, where something got stuck when the hoist was being lowere, above the rear window, (another easy fix ) ( I can repair any of this easily and I am a novice ) If your body man says these are difficul, ,,, wel, then you need to get a REAL body man . Anywa, the step, floor, etc, are very solid .it has normal scratches and chips that come from 60 years of us, This is a survivo, and way better than mos,
The truck has faded pain, some old body work where pain, bondo is coming of,
there was a 360/390 installed many years ag, replacing the Y-block 292 with the FE engin, when this was being used regularly on a ranc, North of Billings, Montan, New tires were put on all the way around , and have less than 2000 miles on the, they were put on 6 years ag, just not driven much since .
The truck has a hoist under around a 14 foot bed with stock rack, and the PTO and hoist work as they shoul, The truck runs and drives goo, But, like many old farm truck, you have to pump the brakes ( I did bleed the, but did not adjust the, did not see any master or wheel cylinder leakage )
The rig runs goo, I have driven it 65 MP, in 4t, hig, it has a 4-spee, with a 2-speed rearen, the seat needs padding and a new cove, headliner is gon, ,,, he, it is a work truck, , It does have the rar, round radio in i, (unsure if it works )
This would be a great truck to bring to your job sigh, for a construction compan, or roofing tearoff, or whatever you choose to do with it . Put it to work tomorrow . I was going to lower it on a motorhome chassi, and make a wedge truck out of it to haul my 55 F100 panel truck
but I have way too many other project, so I would like to give someone else the opportunity to give the old stubby the attention it deserve, ,
That sai, please feel free to READ ABOUT M, and my 100% positive feedbac, Know who you are dealing with ! Thanx for your time.
This truck is listed on many other sight, and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time .BUT, I will honor the auction and let it run it's cours, ONCE reserve is reache, and those bids will be honored .
