This sedan was originally built by Ryan "Moose" McCombs of the Alter Boys CC, almost 10 years ago. It's been featured in several magazines over the years such as Mag-Neto and Hot Rod Deluxe. It ran at the very first Race of Gentleman and has run at the HAMB Drags as well. This car has been around and driven for years...it's not a trailer queen by any means. This is a driver that you can take out and have fun with....
Body: 1930-31 Model A sedan. Chopped 3 ". It was actually chopped live at a show by Ray Tourigny, David Faulner and Eddie Pollard. It was done right and looks great. The body is super solid. All glass is intact and windows go up and down. Doors shut nice and windshield opens and closes. Has a new top as well. Runs a '32 Chevy grill and '55 Dodge taillights.
Chassis: Model A chassis. Body has been set back 6 inches. 1937 Desoto tube front axle and late '40's Plymouth rear end. Late 40's, 10" drum brakes. 1936 Plymouth artillery wheels and good, bias tires, front and rear.
Drivetrain: 1951 Plymouth 218 flat 6. It runs dual carbs and has split exhaust. 400jr. reground cam by Edgy Speed Shop. Milled, stock head. 1946 Dodge 3 speed tranny and pedals. Runs good but the carbs could use some slight tuning and an overall, tune up would help. ^volt system.
Interior: Has good, Model A seats and seatbelts. Even has a heater! Lights and signals work. Speedo, Oil pressure and temp gauge function.
This is a unique driver with some cool history. One that you can take out now and enjoy and tweak to your liking over time.
