1930 Ford Model A TROG Rat Rod
1930 Ford Model A Description
This is a 1930 Model A frame, with a 26/27 Model T Roadster body. Engine is a '51 8RT flathead v8, 239CI with a two-barrel Ford carb. I purchased this vehicle to build it into a TROG or jalopy-style racer, but recent family priorities are causing me to sell it. The car runs and drives, and has a 3-speed manual toploader transmission from a '40s Ford sedan, mated to a banjo rear-end. Here are a few other items with the car:
-Cowl mounted fuel tank with electric fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator
-12v conversion for generator and starter, still uses positive-ground
-New thermostats in each head
-New oil pan gasket and fresh oil/filter change
-New transmission output shaft gasket
-New gear oil in transmission
-Includes several spare parts, such as a Model T hood and chopped windshield (needs mounts)
-I will also include several manuals on flathead Ford engines and Model A hot rods. This car will come with a Bill of Sale ONLY, eBay listings forced me to select "rebuilt" for the title option. The VIN can be found on the frame under the body, and your local DMV can provide all references to get the car titled. Will make an excellent project for someone looking for a period-correct hot rod.Car is listed locally, and I reserve the right to cancel this listing shouldI sell it locally.Car is located off of I-95 in Stafford, VA. Text or call anytime after 5pm if you have more questions. (252) 665-1888. Vehicle must be picked up prior to March 4th.
