1933 Ford Other 3w Coupe Description
1933 Ford 3w Coupe - 60's True Hot Rod!
This car has all the character & class without having the fancy paint!
Drivetrain - 1972 SBC 350 cu in, 3x2 intake with correct 2gcarburetors. Walker Radiator - runs cool in traffic and in 100+ degree temperatures. Carbs were rebuilt when I bought it, new spark plugs. 3 speed transmission, shift on the floor, 8 inch rear. All fluids have been changed when I purchased it. Brakes great all the way around, stops great. Engine does use a small amount of oil and does drip a little on the floor when stored, like a hot rod should!
Suspension - 4" dropped axle, reversed eye spring, juice brakes, new bearings & seals up front, Vega steering box, 4-bar front, parallel leaf on the rear, panhard rod.
Interior - 1949 Mercury dash has been modified to fit inside and looks AWESOME! I replaced the speddometer, as it did not work when I purchased it, works great now. All gauges do work (amps, oil, water temp & fuel). Has turn signals that function. Has a Haywire wire panel. Has a heater inside with a shutoff valve in the engine compartment, also has switch on dash to turn fan on for the heater. Dash lights work when headlights are on. Glove box is functional. White Vinyl with blue tuff insert, suits the car excellent and is very comfortable to ride in for a long drive.
Rims/Tires - 15" rims with flipper hubcaps. Radial tires all the way around and have good tread.
Some of the glass in the doors have a crack in them, throwout bearing does whine and will need to be replaced in the future (just not immediately).
Has repop halogen headlights, but I do have a pair of blue painted small headlights too.
Air cleaners & shift knob do not go with the car.
Car runs & drives great. I have put about 2000 miles on it since I did the maintenance to bring it up to par & safe on the road. Has been @ the LA Roadster Show, many weekend days out for a cruise with the family and super fun car that gets a ton of looks.
This is not a car that was built to look like it is distressed and faked, the car has chipped paint, dings, dent in the driver's roof which was pushed out in '62 when a tree limp fell on it (has a '34 driver's doorconsequently). This car has character, has a story to tell and is veryelegant with just wayshe is.

On Aug-23-16 at 21:02:07 PDT, seller added the following information:Additional information based on questions asked. Car is all steel with the exception of the gas tank cover, which is glass, I did not want to paint a steel cover to try to match car for this small panel.
Only sheetmetal, that I can see, is front section of floor pan forward of the seat pan. I assume this was done to accommodate the SBC & transmission install. I can not see any patch panels in the body. No rustout or bubbling paint (from rust).
Car does have a panhard rod & tube shocks.
I am told the tail lights are Tucker. Speedometer & odometer do work great, I replace it when I got the car since the one was broken & not functioning.
Doors & trunk do lock with key.
Hood does not come unlatched when driving.
