1989 Ford Mustang LX Notchback Description

This vehicle is in good condition for its age. This is a one owner car, purchased back in 1989 and only driven 74,238 miles in the past 27 years by an elderly gentleman who never abused it. The body is very solid. There is some surface rust along the trunk and in a couple of other spots, shown in pictures, along with one large rust hole in the rear drivers side quarter panel. The interior reflects signs of its age and use, as there are various points of wear and the driver's seat has a large tear along the outer edge. The engine runs soundly with no knocks, but it does stall when completely cold and needs to be warmed up for a minute before it will idle on its own. Once slightly warmed up, the issue goes away, and I suspect that it has a minor vacuum leak. The engine recently received service, with the intake manifold gasket, fuel injector seals, thermostat, idle air control valve, battery, and several vacuum hoses being replaced. The shock towers are all very sound and solid, as shown in the pictures. The rocker panels are solid as well. This would make a great project car, as it needs little body work to be very nice. It would make a fantastic restoration project, or perhaps be an excellent candidate for a 5.0 v8 swap. It does run and drive around the yard and the brakes work, but I have not driven it down the road, and cannot speak as to whether or not it would make a long trip in its current condition, as it has been sitting for a couple of years without being driven. All in all, this car is in good shape, has low miles, and a clear title. The tires do seem to hold air, though the front ones needed air to be added after a couple of months of sitting. The tread on the tires seems decent, better than 1/2 tread life left. I have not tested and verified that all electronic components are working properly, and therefore I am not saying that they do. The power windows do roll up and down. Other than that, please ask any questions you may have before bidding. I would be happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. The vehicle MUST be picked up within thirty days after the end of the auction, otherwise a storage fee WILL be imposed of 20 dollars per day after the 30 days is up. This vehicle is being sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and arrangements. While I have tried to disclose all major known issues with this vehicle, it may have other problems that are unknown to me, as it is a classic car and is nearly thirty years old. Understand what you are bidding on before you place a bid. Thank you.

I would like to add that there is almost no rot underneath the vehicle as well. Here are some more pictures of the undercarriage.
