1932 Ford Roadster Project Original Chassis & Brookville Body w/Title
Great start on a traditional 32 roadster. New Brookville body on an original 32 frame with a nice mix of original Ford and new reproduction parts.
Frame is an original 32 from an old hot rod. It was brought back to stock dimensions in the frame jig at The Barillaro Speed Emporium. The front cross member was replaced with a nice original and the rear cross member has never been out of the frame. The center of the rear cross member was modified back in the day to work with a 1940 straight spring. The frame horns were replaced with new ones. The k-member was replaced with a nice original that has stock style rivets plus was tig welded for strength. The VIN # is clear.
The front suspension is a 1932 heavy axle with a 4” drop by Okie Joe. It has fitted round back spindles with the steering arms bent to clear the un-split 32 wishbone.
The rear end is a 1940 Ford and includes torque tube, drive shaft, spring and radius rods. There are 2 old shock mounts welded to the rear. Wheels are 16x4” and 16x4-1/2” Ford w/ new Firestone 4.50 and 7.50 tires.
Body is new from Brookville and comes with cowl vent and stock style door hinges. Firewall an original 32 Ford. Grill shell, insert and gas tank are new from Vintique. The hood top is new from Rootlieb and the hood sides are louvered.
Comes with current and correct Tennessee title for 1932 Ford Roadster in my name matching #’s on the frame.
