1975 Ford F-150 Ranger Supercab Description

This a survivor 1975 Ford F 150 Ranger Supercab with original paint and all numbers matching. 460 V-8, Factory Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Tow Package. Original Dark Ginger Metallic & Wimbeldon White paint that is shiny and bright other than the hood which is starting to show some fading/patina; please see the last picture. Dual fuel tanks. Everything works to include the lights on the shell. 104,500 original miles. Starts, runs and drives great; pulls strong and is incredibly fun to drive. The original AM radio still works. Tires have less than 7500 miles of use so lots of life remaining. The AC system was upgraded to an all new R-134a modern system this year and it blows super cold; receipts for this work are included. The transmission has been rebuilt within the last 200 miles; it was working fine but the rear main seal was leaking and since the transmission was out, rebuilding only made sense. Receipts for this work are also included. Recent service work: oil change and a new power steering pump and some brake work; receipts included as well. Interior is all original; there are a few tears on the drivers side of the bench seat; replacing this is pretty inexpensive however I opted to live with it as it is mostly behind the driver and keeps the interior original. The jump seats in the Supercab area are as new. The original tailgate is included; it is in condition consistent with the rest of the truck. The Slipstream shell is included; it has been on the truck since 1976; it has a man door and additionally, the entire back panel swings up like a hatch to allow full use of the bed with the cab in place. The shell door locks. We used it for camping; we built a frame that held a queen mattress and still had plenty of room for stuff. Also has trailer brakes as this was ordered from the factory with the Tow Package. There is some paint bubbling/minor rust on the bed surface at the very front; very hard to see in pictures as it is just bubbling. Additionally there is some slight bubbling paint on the underside of the right rear fender as shown in the next to last picture. This truck has been in Arizona for most of it's life. Overall, this truck is in amazing survivor condition; it is hard to imagine that there is a better one out there that has not been restored. I have a variety of sports cars and this truck gets more looks/waves/thumbs-up's than anything we own.
