1959 Ford F-100 Custom Description

THIS CALIFORNIA NATIVE 1959 FORD V8, SHORT BED, CUSTOM CAB TRUCK WAS BUILT AT THE SAN JOSE PLANT IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THIS TRUCK HAS SPENT ITS ENTIRE LIFE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA . THIS ORIGINAL CUSTOM CAB BIG BACK WINDOW TRUCK STILL MAINTAINS IT’S ORIGINAL FACTORY BLACK PAINT AND THIS TRUCK IS A TRUE SURVIVOR. THIS IS A SUPER CLEAN STOCK TRUCK THAT IS A GOOD RUNNER / DRIVER. THE BODY- The factory floor pans are solid with light surface rust only, they do not show any signs of welding, patching or repairs and they do not have pin holes, they look good. Both of the kick panels are in good condition with no signs of rusty holes they look good. The fire wall shows no signs of rusty areas on the driver's side or passenger side upper corners of the fire wall, the fire wall is solid and clean. The exterior bed sides are original to the truck and overall they are in good original condition, there are no signs of rust repairs, patching or old bodywork. The top of the bed and the stake pockets are in good condition with no signs of waves or repairs to the stake pockets. The interior bed side panels and the bed bottom are in good solid condition and are not beat up or overly dented. The original doors are in good condition with no signs of rust repair, patching or old collisions they look good. The original front fenders are clean with no signs of rust repairs, patching or old collisions just light surface rust down low. The original inner fender wells shows no signs of rust or repairs they look good. The original battery tray is intact and it is not rotted out it looks good. The radiator support is also original and shows no signs of rust or repairs it looks good. Both the original inner and outer rockers are original to the truck and are not full of body filler, there are no rust holes in them they both are solid. The windshield pillars and upper windshield area both inside and outside are rust free and are in good condition. The top of the metal dash is in good condition with no signs of rust or rust repairs. The rain gutters are all solid along with the roof and they show no signs of rust or rust repairs. The hood is in good condition with no signs of rust repair and it fits nicely to the fenders. The bottom side of this truck is not rotted out and it is apparent, when looking underneath that this truck is a dry vehicle. This truck has all of its original Ford panels and overall the body on this truck is in good condition. This is an original truck and it has a small dings and scrapes but overall this truck is straight and clean for being an original 1959 vehicle. The factory original raven black and white paint on this truck is in overall good original condition for its age .

THE INTERIOR- The inside of this truck is clean and presentable and the front seat is in good condition, it looks good. The rubber floor mat is in good condition with no holes or where marks, it looks good. The glove box liner is intact and in good condition. The instrument cluster / gauges are clean looking and all in good working order. The heater blower and the heater switch are intact and are in good working order.The sun visors are intact and in good condition.The original steering wheel is in good condition with no cracks and the horn ring is also clean. There are no added speaker holes cut in to this truck and the original radio is intact and it lights up but will not play. Overallthe inside of this truck is in good original condition.

THE MOTOR- This truck is equipped with the original 232 8 cy motor that is bone stock and is in good running order. This truck runs good and this motor is not a leaker or smoker it is dependable. The motor is equipped with all the original ford factory accessories except for the carburetor and the headers.

THE TRANS- The trans is the original 3 speed manual transmission on the column and it is good working order. The column shifter is nice and tight and the clutch does not slip and when you drop this truck in gear there are no universal joint clunks or noises.

THE OVER ALL-This F100 short bed truck is a nice survivor driver that was well taken care of and was not beat on or abused over the years.This is a very original truck that still has its originalblack California license plates and the original owner's manual. The front suspension looks to be original to the truck and the truck steers straight on both high and low speeds but keep in mind it's not a new truck. This truck has the original stock springs and the original rims are in good condition. The bias ply tires are older and they have good tread but you should inspect them before a long trip. The original electrical is in good condition and the head lights, dash lights, dome light, horn, turn signals, tail lights, radio, heater blower and wipers are all in good working order. The original Ford windshield and the rest of the original glass is not cracked or pitted and is in good original condition. The front and rear bumpers are original to the truck they are straight and clean. The brake master cylinder is original and the brakes are in good working order but I recommend having the drums and pads inspected for your own peace of mind. The bottom side of this truck is not full of under coating from the factory and it is clear to see that it is not a rotted out mess. Over all this 1959 Ford is a blast to drive and it gets attention while on the road this is a hard to find affordable classic in thiscondition that will only go up in value.
