Nice car to enjoy and drive not a mint condition trailer queen. Motor runs great has less than 2000 miles on rebuild odometer shows 98,340 I've had the car car approx.2 years maybe put 500 miles on it Just to many projects for me. Toploader 4 speed trany ID tag RUG AU indicates its from a 1970 Fairlane 429 close ratio 31 spine.I'm including the correct RUG AE2 4 speed with the sale. This trany does need rebuilt. The clutch chatters on take offs shoud be replaced same time the transmission is installed. Arrangements can be made for me to do the work just thought i'd keep the price down. car seems to be very rust free floors look great I'm no body man but looks to me like the quarters have been patched i here this to be pretty common repair. interior shows some wear mostly door panels and front seats nothing to horrible. Parts for these cars are readily available. The motor has some aftermarket parts on it included with the sale is the original intake,distributor and flywheel. If i've missed any details or need another picture just ask. This is a excellent opportunity to own a cobra jet mustang, I realize its not perfect nor have i priced it that way.
