You are bidding on a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with a 428 Cobra Jet (RR code)
V8 engine, 335hp mated to a Ford C6 three-speed automatic transmission. First “R” means built at the San Jose plant and the second “R” stands for Shaker hood.It runs smooth and tight.
It has the functional Shaker hood, hood pins and flat black paint. The black vinyl interior is in excellent condition with all period-correct gauges, AM/FM/CD stereo, ram air, power steering, front disc brakes, no A/C compressor, correct trim and original GT wheels in excellent condition.
This car has been a part of my collection for over 20 years. The previous owner, a group of racing professionals, has modified and reworked the shock towers (now shaped like the Boss 429) for better performance and more room under the hood. The body may have had some minor quarter panel work done but one could not tell. The current paint color is Royal Maroon respray that looks very sharp with no cracks or blemishes.
This Mach 1 will provide the new owner with many years of trouble free driving and unparalleled pleasure. The sale will include a copy of the Marti Report. When first seen it creates a great first impression with a “WOW” factor. Please email me with any questions you may have. This car is being sold AS-IS with no expressed, written or implied warranty.
Upon purchase, a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $1,000 via cashiers check will be required to hold the car. The remaining balance must be received by seller via cashiers check within 7 days which must clear prior to release of the car.
The car is available for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY unless the buyer is willing to pay for shipping and make the appropriate shipping arrangements.
