1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxie 500 Description

This is a mostly complete retractable. The engine (I believe it's a 332, not the 352) turns over and has fired for me when primed with fuel. I have no idea how the transmission is. I was told the top mechanism works, but I haven't been able to get it to work for me. Someone has addeda bank of switches on the driver's side rear arm rest. Except for the driver's side door window (which is cracked but there), the glass is pretty good.

It is very rusty. The frame is rusted out under both doors and the driver's door hangs poorly due to rust out. I have not found rusted out floors, but I haven't crawled the length of it either. I am an amateur restorer and it has too much rust for me to tackle.

I'm selling this at no reserve and would love to see it find a new home. However, if it doesn't get a starting bid and doesn't sell, and you're needing parts, please keep my number and call me after the auction closes. Please do your shipping homework before bidding. The car is a roller and is located at zip code 84511 and there is plenty of room to load it, but shipping out of here gets pretty pricey.
