1941 Ford Pickup Chopped Hot Rod Rat Rod Street Rod
1941 Ford Other Pickups Description
Pro built 41 Ford hot rod pickup. She's a real deal, ld school hot rod from the 70's right out of California! It was rebuilt as you see it about 7 years ago and has plenty of tried, rue, nd reliable miles under her belt. It's been driven on Power Tour and from Florida to the Shades of the Past show in Pigeon Forge, ennessee.
The chassis is custom built from steel tubing by a professional hot rod shop in Florida. It uses a Model A style front suspension with dropped straight axle and disc brakes. The 9" rear is 4 linked with Aldan coil overs. It drives straight as an arrow without any ill handling characteristics.
The built and cammed 350 4 bolt engine runs great and sounds awesome through the Sanderson zoomie headers! It's backed up by a Turbo 400 transmission that's been built and has a higher stall convertor. She turns heads pulling in and demands attention with all the chrome, olished, nd ceramic coated details. Has won several awards for best engine.
The body is rock solid. Always garage kept. She's chopped 4 inches and it's masterfully done with no seams visible even in the door jams. Real glass all around, o plexi or lexan here. The door glass operates properly. Bed has been shortened with a custom stainless 12.5 gallon fuel tank underneath. The trunk in the bed is a real stage coach trunk and it's sunken in the bed floor about 6 inches so there is a lot of storage space.
The interior is very comfortable. The custom "seat belt" seats are almost like being suspended in a hammock. There's ample room too, ot cramped like some of these style builds. The owner is 6'6" and his son is 6'10" and they ride comfortable! It has tilt steering and a genuine "500" wheel. Has a vintage style heater that will run you out for those cold days.
This is a great little hot rod! If you're looking for a ride that's turn key, eady to go, nd will have your buddies green with envy then look no further! Clear Florida title in hand. Just minutes from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). Fly in and drive this truck home with confidence! No disappointments. This hot rod has been thoroughly enjoyed by this father and son but they're ready to move on to their next phase. Thanks for looking and please call with any questions.
